MY "SLEEPING BEAUTIES"

We've been transitioning Will to a "big bed" and for the most part he does well sleeping in it .... when he finally decides to go to sleep! He's only fallen out once! We put a safety gate in his doorway in the beginning since he's on the second floor and we didn't want him wandering and getting hurt at night...well let's just say that didn't work! :) He climbed right over this and came downstairs to our room to play! So we added a 2nd gate in the doorway...silly of us to think that this would work! Somehow he wriggled his little body right through the middle of the 2 gates and came back down to see us! :) So...we make another attempt with the 2nd gate and left no space in between...this worked for us....didn't make Will very happy but it worked and that's all that mattered! These days he's into everything so we just worry so much that he'd get out and hurt himself....hopefully sooner than later we'll be able to move away from the gates! That would be great! The picture I've put here is of my "sleeping beauties" from the other morning...Will had woken up in the middle of the night the other night and began to cry...this may have been when he fell out of the bed...can't remember??? Rick went to check on him and every time he would get Will back to sleep and try to get out of the bed, Will would wake up and start crying again so Rick ended up just sleeping in the bed with him so this is what I found that morning...it was too sweet not to take a picture so here it is....
