WILL AND HIS SHADOW

The "PICTURE LADY" as D. J. calls herself had a spend the night on October 21, 2006 with Will! She babysat so I could go and enjoy the Clemson vs. Georgia Tech game and I appreciate that so much because I had a wonderful time and the game was AWESOME! :) They had lots of fun together and took many pictures....the following are two that D. J. sent me and I wanted to share them with everyone to enjoy!

Will's first Departmental Picnic

The Physics and Astronomy department that I work for had our fall picnic on Saturday, September 30, 2006. The weather that day was beautiful and we had a very good turn out of our faculty, staff, grad students, and family members! The food was delicious! Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time that day and hopefully we'll have an even better turn out for next year's picnic!!! I've posted some pictures of Will on here and a few of him and his little "buddy" David playing together for all to see!

A NEW SWING

My parents went and bought a new swing for Will (and soon for Emma) for our old swing set when we were kids so he'd have something to use when he's there visiting...so we just had to try it out...and of course he loved it!!!

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW

On our way back home from Lancaster from Pa's house we stopped for a visit at Grandmother and Granddaddy's house and hung out for a while with them at their house and showed them how Will had learned how to walk...he was so proud of himself and they were excited to see this! After we left their house it had started to "drizzle" a little outside but it didn't last for long and the sun decided to "peek" through the clouds and gave us a beautiful rainbow (double - hopefully you can see it in the pictures) to enjoy!!!! It was amazing! We pulled over on a side road and took some pictures...what a wonderful ending to such a special day for us all!!! :)

A TRIP TO PA'S HOUSE

We took another trip out to Pa's house again and walked around outside just to "reminise" of old times. This is a picture of my mom standing by the scupanine (sp?) vine that her father grew and always picked for us every year...they were always so yummy!!! There's also a picture of Will walking with his Aunt Elizabeth by the vines...it's such a precious picture if I do say so myself! :)

CLEMSON TIGERS BEAT NORTH CAROLINA

Well..we got another "W" against North Carolina....felt kinda sorry for the players...it was pretty ugly! :) I have some pictures from the "pre-game" where they let loose balloons as the football players ran down the hill:

D.J. came with us to the game and helped "entertain" Will...here's one picture of them together playing with water bottles:



My brother's friend, Rob, was also there "cheering" on the TIGERS with my brother, dad and Will! They also helped in entertaining Will during the game (Will was being given ice chips in this "shot"...that's why he's got such a funny face...it's quite the joint effort!!!

They honored the 1981 National Championship football team during half time of this game and after the game was over we were able to get Will's picture taken with Perry Tuttle (one of the players from the 1981 team):
