Clemson vs. Boston College

Not much to say about this one.... Unfortunately this was a disappointing evening - we lost to BC - 20 - 17. This was the game to win because it was for the division championship and we had played so well during the game. Rick was actually able to work it out to get to this game with us and we still had a great time! Will and I got some matching sweatshirts which of course he loves his "whoa whoa" shirt. I've posted some pictures from the evening:

Will's First Hockey Game

Will went to his first hockey game on November 15, 2007 to see the Inferno Hockey team play and he absolutely loved it!!! He kept saying, "goin' to a hohey game?" and still talks about it to this day - guess we'll have to take him again one day and hopefully Rick will get to come then. I took him with Laura, Beth, Dominic and Joe. We went out to eat at Miyos first which was delicious and then went to the game and he had his first experience with dippin' dots there - wasn't too sure about them at first but liked them after a little while. He got to see a few fights break out also! :) I took tons of pictures but am only putting some of the night - a few of the pictures didn't turn out great - but you get the picture! :)

Clemson vs. Wake Forest

Clemson played Wake Forest on November 10, 2007 and beat them 44 - 10. We had a lot of fun that day with Will and Emma - as you can see from one of the pictures, Emma got a little bored and enjoyed playing in the leaves instead of watching football! :) After the game, we got some cute pictures of Will pushing the strollers with daddy-mo and Emma walking with mee-mo and her mama and also of Will with the statue of the Tiger Cub. Last but not least, there's a cute picture of Will with his uncle Kent!

MY NEW SATURN...

Well...we went to the Saturn dealership last night and finalized paperwork on my new car - a Saturn VUE!!! I absolutely love it! It's exterior color is Techno Gray and interior is gray cloth! It's got lots of storage areas, a huge glove compartment, controls on the steering wheel for the radio (which is great), and cupholders in the back seat also, which I love! :) Our salesman, Zach Welch, was wonderful and I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a new vehicle! Once again, we had a great experience with Saturn! As my sister requested, I'm posting pictures of the VUE - haven't done any inside pictures yet but will get to it sometime soon and add them! :)

WHAT EVERYBODY'S BEEN WAITING FOR.....

Pictures of my car accident on Monday, November 26, 2007:

I am ok - just a little bruised up and very sore! God obviously had a plan for this night because Will was not with me - he's in Charleston with the Papp's and Rick was actually in town (he was called by work earlier in the day to go on a flight to NY and turned it down b/c he had Will's room torn apart to paint) - good thing for all of this!

We couldn't find my wallet after the accident so had to call and cancel everything. We went out to the scene of the accident yesterday morning before going to the doctor to get checked out and couldn't find my wallet anywhere. After getting back from the doctor I looked one more time in the car and found it underneath the brake pedal!!! Halleluiah!!! God is good! I know the cards are still cancelled but I still have my license, work ID, work credit card, insurance cards, etc. and didn't want to go through the process of dealing with all of that also and now I don't have to! Now the only thing missing is the garage door opener and I'm assuming it got smashed up somewhere on the road - who knows??? :) All of this we can replace - as Rick said, "It's a car and we can replace that but not you!" :)

I actually received a call last night from the lady that I was in the wreck with - she just wanted to call me and see how I was doing! :) I was so happy that she called - I was wanting to do the same but hadn't received the accident report yet from the officer so I didn't have any of her information to do so - obviously she received the information first and made the call, which was an answer to my prayers! I was so hoping that she was ok also and she is! She's like me - a little banged up and sore! At this time we are playing the waiting game with the car to see what will happen next - don't know if they are going to total it or fix it??? We'll find out soon enough I guess!

So - just keep praying that all keeps going well, that I keep healing and the other lady does - her name is Phoebe, and that we both get everything straightened out with our vehicles, insurance, etc.

WALKING IN MOMMY'S "FOOTSTEPS"

Will's really been getting into trying on shoes lately, along with dressing himself. He was doing a little of both tonight - dressing himself in my socks and shoes - and was having a blast doing it because it made mommy laugh!

If you were wondering....

If you were wondering what Will does during the day when he's not staying at home with his daddy....here it is

These pictures are of our neighbor, Rylan (or Ry Ry as we call him)....his mommy is who keeps Will when Rick or myself are not doing so and Will loves it there! On this particular day Will had gone to Ashley's for the day and she saw the outfit that Will had on (Rylan has the same one) so she decided to run and change Rylan into his and take pictures! They looked so cute together!

Hawker's New Home

Well...we have finally moved Hawker outdoors (for most of the time)! We were waiting to do this until we did a few things:

1) Have a fence built
2) Buy a dog house
3) Build a platform for the dog house
4) Build something to cover his dog food so it doesn't get too wet in the rain
5) Find him a shady area to place all of this

This is what he have come up with for him (obviously some hard work on Rick's part and some shopping by me - Rick built the platform and "lean-to" for the food and I bought the dog house; Rick also bought the solar light that's out there with everything) and if I do say so myself, it looks pretty good:
