Will Swinging in the Backyard (9/26/08)
Well...I officially have a "BIG BOY!" We were out in the back yard Thursday afternoon and Will ran over to his swingset and just started swinging himself and it wasn't in the "Baby Swing" as he calls it now! That was the first time that we had seen him do that - it was an exciting moment for Rick and myself! He's doing so many new things and likes to do them all by himself - he's growing up right before our very own eyes - it's so amazing watching them learn new things!

When Mary Matheson was a little girl, she did the same thing. She never wanted to let you help her, but instead somehow learned on her own to do things ( pumping herself on the swing was one of those things) and then what seemed like 'all of a sudden' she'd demonstrate! It is so exciting to see Will growing and learning. It's wonderful to see life through the eyes of a child! What a blessing - thanks for sharing! Tell Will that Me-Mo says, "Come back, Mr. Potato"! Love to each of you! Momma
