One of my very good friends from elementary, middle school and high school, etc. got married this past weekend on December 15, 2007 and I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in the wedding! I'm so glad to see Lindsay happy and hope that she has many wonderful years of happiness with Josh! Will also went to the wedding with my parents and surprisingly enough was very well behaved - not a "peep" from him during the service! :) I was so worried that he would start talking or screaming but he did a wonderful job and received many a compliment on how great he acted! :)

2007 Christmas Party at the Papp's
We had our annual Christmas party this year on December 8, 2007. We had a wonderful time with friends and family and enjoyed lots of yummy food! :) There were lots of children here this year and they had lots of fun playing with Will and all of his toys and had fun making a huge mess at the same time! :) We all hated to see everyone go and look forward to the next one! :)

The South Carolina Railroad Museum
Myself, Will, Brian, Allison and Jackon all headed to the South Carolina Railroad Museum in Winnsboro, SC, on December 8, 2007 - unfortunately Rick was unable to make it because he was on his way back home from a trip to Arizona. The boys had a blast! I know I myself had lots of fun also! I know my Pa would be a very happy man to see how much his great grandson loves the trains (Rick put a video of Will on the train on our website - www.rickandmarypapp.org). Will had his head out of the window for most of the ride checking everything out! Will also was able to see Santa and got to be held by him on the ride! :) I'll be looking forward to doing it again sometime!

Clemson vs. USC
Well....we did it this year - we beat the Gamecocks!!! Just barely but we did it! The final was Clemson (23) - USC (21). My dad was able to get 2 extra tickets the day of the game from Marty Cope so Will and I got to go to the game...and of course Will had a blast! He made buddies with everyone around him! He now loves for me to do the chant, "1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, C-L-E-M-S-O-N, T-I-G-E-RRRR-S, Fight Tigers, Fight Tigers, Fight, Fight, Fight!" - He loves to do it with me also - he gets so excited about it! I really do have so much fun with Will at all of the football games and look forward to many more in the future with him! It's a very special time for us!

The Hunt for the 2007 Christmas Tree
We went out to Hollow Creek Tree Farm again this year to "hunt" for our Christmas tree - unfortunately Rick was unable to make it this year but his parents were still able to make the trip with Will and I and we had so much fun! We ended up picking out an eleven foot frasier fir tree this year and it's quite large and lovely if I do say so myself! I think I did a pretty good job this year picking it out!
Will Decorating His Christmas Tree
Rick's mom gave us her Disney ornaments this year and we used them to decorate Will's tree that's in the bonus room - he loved doing this! He was a big help to mommy and daddy with placing the ornaments all over the tree and it's a cute little tree now! Rick was giving him one of the ornaments to hang and said, "Hang Goofy Will" and Will said, "gonna hang Gooky!" We laughed like crazy about this - it was so cute! He also helped his daddy "light" Santa up for the first time this year - this was given to us by Rick's dad and it was a Santa that he had as a child! :)
Thanksgiving 2007
We spent Thanksgiving day in Lancaster, SC. We went out to Pa's house first and went and explored the woods and found the Mobley family tree (there's a picture with Kent's inititals from 2006) and played on the railroad tracks. We went out to Grandmother and Granddaddy's after this and had lunch which was absolutely delicious and surprised Granddaddy with a cake for his 85th birthday - he really liked this and it meant so much to him! The "boys" of course did the usual - watched football and played football! We had a wonderful day! After this we headed out to the daycare center and had dinner with Rick's family and had lots of fun there also - especially Will because he was able to play with all of his cousins! There's lots of pictures on this one....
