WILL'S NOW 2!!!

Well I know it's hard enough for me to believe that only 2 years ago today (8/21/05), we were bringing Will into this world! It was definitely a rough beginning :) but well worth everything that we went through! He's been such a wonderful addition to our family! He's such a precious gift from God and I know Rick and I thank God every day for allowing us to have such an amazing child! He never ceases to amaze us with all that he learns every day! Can't wait to see what all the next year has in store for us all - I'm sure it will be quite an interesting year for us all! Looking forward to it!

Just wanted to post a picture from the day that we brought Will home and the most recent of him (Sunday - 8/19/07) to show how much he's changed over the past two years! You can also check out the "2" on our family website (www.rickandmarypapp.org) to see many pictures of Will!

WILL'S SANDBOX

Will's grandparents (Papp's) bought him sand for his sandbox for his birthday and dropped by the house on their way back to Charleston this evening to help us put it all together! As you can see from the pictures...the sandbox was a BIG HIT!!!

"ROUGHING IT" AT THE PAPP HOUSEHOLD

Rick, Will and myself had a little spend-the-night last night in our bonus room and had a blast! I bought the movie "HAPPY FEET" the other day for this special night so we watched this with Will and he loved it! He loved it so much that Will and I had to watch it again today and he carried around the case to the DVD all over the house! :) We set up our sleeping bags and even one for Will that he had gotten from his great Aunt Christie for his birthday! We had pillows and stuffed animals all over the place! Will got to experience popcorn for the first time - loved this! He also got to have a couple of bites of a chocolate chip cookie along with his milk, b/c you can't have cookies without milk! :) He was bouncing and dancing all over the room during the movie! We, of course, had to take some pictures of Will's first official "camp out/spend-the-night!" We had a wonderful time and can't wait until the next one! :)

WILL TAKES A SHOWER

Will has taken a few showers but tonight I actually got out the camera and took some pictures...could only post a few b/c he was "showing too much" in some of the pictures and don't really want those out there for just anyone to see! :) He was having so much fun so Rick threw in some toys also and he had a blast once Rick did this...we need to do this more often...definitely makes "bath time" much easier! :)

WILL PLAYS IN HIS POOL

I bought a bigger pool recently for Will and we just haven't bothered with bringing it out yet but as Rick said, "this is the perfect week to do this" since it's in the 100's around here! Rick got home from work early today and set up the pool for Will and said that Will was so excited about this! Once I got home from work I, of course, got out the camera and took some pictures of Will having some fun in his new pool!

EMMA CRAWLING AND PLAYING WITH HAWKER

Emma has become quite mobile these days and these are just some pictures of her trying to play with some of Will's new toys and trying to get to Hawker, our dog, even though he's outside! :) It was so cute! She loves animals and just kept squealing in attempt to try to get Hawker to come to the door to see her...

WILL'S 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY - AUGUST 4, 2007

We had Will's 2nd birthday party this past weekend...not actually his birthday...this isn't until August 21st but some of Rick's family were going to be in town that weekend from New Jersey so we chose to do the party then so that they could share in his special day! He had so much fun with all of them and his family and friends at the party and here are some pictures of the big event:

PARTY DECORATIONS

We had a "construction" theme for Will's 2nd birthday party and had so much fun with the decorating! We had lines on the table cloths to make them look like roads, used hard hats for chips, etc., used dump trucks for food, and used some trucks and balloons to hang in the garage. We also set up cones with CAUTION TAPE to the front door for decoration. Everything turned out to be so cute and was a "hit" for the kids and adults! Here are pictures of all of the decorations:

THE BIRTHDAY CAKE

I headed to Rock HIll this past Thursday night and my mom and I stayed up til' about 1:30 am making Will's birthday cake and if I do say so myself, they turned out to be pretty cute!!!

















Will stayed up pretty late that night also because he was so excited to see his grandparents and uncle Kent....when we finally felt that he was asleep, we went to check up on him and this is what we found....Will asleep with a truck!!! Now you can probably understand why the theme of his birthday party was trucks....he loves them!!!
